The MA English students of REVA University had the privilege of attending the Bangalore International Film Festival (BIFFES) on 7th March, 2025. The festival, which showcased a diverse range of films from around the world, provided the students with a unique opportunity to engage with diverse cinematic perspectives and cultural narratives.
The students attended screenings of critically acclaimed films, interacted with filmmakers and film critics, and participated in workshops and discussions on film appreciation and criticism.
The visit to BIFFES was a valuable addition to the students' academic curriculum, allowing them to explore the intersection of literature and film, and to think critically about the ways in which stories are told and received in different cultural contexts.
