Internal Faculty Development Programme on “Writing a Research Project Proposal”

The School of Applied Sciences, Dept. of Biotechnology had organized an internal FDP on “writing a research project proposal” on 31st August 2019 between 10.30 am to 3.30 pm at A.P.J Abdul Kalam Hall, Science Block.
The FDP lecture was conducted by Dr. Guruprasad. N. M, Assistant Professor at department of Biotechnology, REVA University.
The key features of lecture mainly focused on,
1.The concept of writing a research proposal
2.Choice of funding agencies to be made during project proposal submission
3.Criteria’s required for writing a research proposal
4.List of funding agencies to which project proposals could be applied.
Faculty from Biotechnology and Biochemistry attended and utilized the opportunity of the lecture on scientific research project proposal preparation and submission. The lecture included a healthy discussion on the basic criteria’s to be kept in mind while submitting a proposal.
