International Industrial Visit and University Visit To Dubai - 2019
REVA University offers a diverse revelation to our students, where students are not only restricted to academics, but also brings in various add-ons into the curriculum and one among them was International trip which was concerned with Industrial visit, University visit and a great exposure towards Dubai country culture and nature.
Students enjoyed the trip and were also acquainted with the industrial processing and a brief exposure towards the University Functioning in Dubai.
REPORT ON DUBAI VISIT
Place - Dubai
Date of travel -16th October 2019 (morning) to 19th October 2019 (morning)
Duration - 4days and 3nights
Total travellers: 24 students and 2 faculty members (Total – 26)
The trip was designed well by the tour coordinators under the continuous monitoring and guidance by Director, Dr. Shubha A.
Day 1: 16th October 2019
The day started with lots of zeal and enthusiasm among the students as all were supposed to report to Airport by 4.00 am in the morning and all students boarded the flight by 7.00 am and the journey started at 7.30 am along with Mr. Prem who was from Leo events and tours it was four hours journey and we reached the Dubai International airport by 12.00 am, all were welcomed and received by Mr. Amar Ray trip organizer – Leo events and tours and after departure all of them were accommodated in Dolphin Apartments and then lunch was organised in an Indian restaurant and after that all were taking to shopping followed by a visit to Dubai City Mall and later all of them were supposed to get back to hotel and get ready to proceed towards Dhow Cruise by 7.00 pm and all them boarded the cruise were dinner was organised and followed by few entertainment programme, which was enjoyed by students.
Day 2: 17th October 2019
Day 2 started with breakfast in the dolphin Apartment and all students were dressed up in formals to visit Curtin University for an interaction with the entire team of Curtin University and we were welcomed by Dane Soliveres Business Development Officer and an hour session was organised by a professor regarding Distributed Leadership and after which we all were taken to an Industrial Visit to Halexco were students were explained about the aluminium processing and the products produced by them and the chief production manager of that particular unit provided all the relevant information and the students queries were also answered and we were offered with a good refreshment by the office staff. Later all had to proceed towards a very good Indian restaurant for lunch and after which it was the time to explore Dubai Mall the largest shopping mall where we covered aquarium point, Burj khalifa view, the fountain show and many more, finally the day ended with a good Indian dinner.
Day 3: 18th October 2019
It was the day where students explored beautiful places in Dubai, students started their journey after having breakfast towards spice market which had good spices and dry fruits to shop, after which they were taken to Zabeel palace for an outside view followed by visit to Plam Island and Gloden frame the biggest frame in the world and after which all had moved for lunch. Later students were taken to Dubai museum which was a wonderful visit and now it was the time to experience and explore, cars reached the museum to pick the students for Desert Safari and it was an hour journey where all reached the destination with lots of excitement and few students had a drive in desert and later all were taken to desert safari followed by beautifully organised entertainment programme and barbeque dinner. The day was great and it was a good city tour.
Day 4: 19th October 2019
Morning after having breakfast everyone had to check out from the hotel and move toward Dubai International Airport and flight was at 11.00 a.m but it was delayed by 45 minutes and all had landed back at Kempegowda International Airport, Bengaluru at 5.30 PM IST.
To conclude the trip to Dubai with 24 students from School of Commerce and Management with 2 faculties was great with lots of memories, bundled with joy, students were very happy and completely enjoyed the trip, even the feedback from the students was good.
We thank our Honorable Chancellor, Dr. P Shyamaraju, Vice Chancellor, Dr. S Y Kulkarni and Registrar, Dr. Dhanamjay for providing us an opportunity to explore. We also convey our gratitude to our beloved Director Dr. Shubha A for her constant support throughout the trip. We also extend our thanks to the International visit coordinators Dr. Shalini B and Prof. Bharati Iyer for their continuous planning of the trip.
