International Prime Lecture Series RUI-PLS - Recent Advancement in Stem Cell Research
As a part of RUI-PLS 2023, School of applied sciences in association with IRRC organised a lecture on Recent Advancement in Stem Cell Research by Dr Vinod Kumar Reddy Lekkala.
Dr Vinod is a Post Doctoral Researcher at Dept. of Biomedical Engineering from Dr. Moo-Yeal Leel’s laboratory, University of North Texas, USA. He has worked with the development of organoids for disease modeling and drug testing applications.
Dr Vinod has motivate students on stem cell research which focussed on the 3D printed organoids for high throughput drug testing, stem cells in regenerative applications and detailed the gathering how to increase the post-transplantation cell survival for ischemic diseases and molecular pathways involved in cell survival, anti-inflammation and angiogenesis.
