The School of Allied Health Sciences celebrated International Women’s Day with great enthusiasm on March 7, 2025, at Kalpana Chawla Hall. The event aimed to honor the achievements and contributions of women in various fields, particularly in healthcare, and to inspire students and faculty with an insightful discussion on women’s health and empowerment.

Guest of Honor

The esteemed guest for the occasion was Dr. Roshana Fulmali, a highly accomplished Consultant Obstetrician and Gynecologist associated with Motherhood Hospital, Bangalore. Dr. Fulmali has an impressive background in medicine, having completed her MBBS from MGIMS, Sewagram, and specialized in Obstetrics and Gynecology with a D.G.O from Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik. She is currently pursuing a Fellowship in Reproductive Medicine and has significant experience in preventive oncology, maternal health, and community service.

Event Proceedings

The program commenced at 10:30 AM with a welcome address by the organizing committee, highlighting the significance of International Women’s Day and the importance of empowering women in healthcare.

Dr. Roshana Fulmali delivered an inspiring keynote address, sharing her journey in the medical field, emphasizing the need for awareness in women’s health, and discussing advancements in obstetrics and gynecology.
