It would not be wrong to say that REVA University is putting its complete effort to eradicate and fight against this worldwide pandemic COVID-19. The School of Computing and Information Technology, REVA University is organizing Jeeva Samrakshak Hackathon 2020 from May 6 to May 25, 2020 to fight against the pandemic COVID-19. The Hackathon is being organized by the Hackathon Club, School of Computing and Information Technology, REVA University and is being supported by GitHub. This Hackathon will not only give students exposure but will also be an opportunity to showcase their talent.
In this Jeeva Samrakshak Hackathon 2020 individual students along with faculty members can participate that too without even spending a single penny. The motto behind this Hackaton is to create an effective Public Surveillance System, to enable fast transport of caregivers to the needed areas, to create an effective system for contact tracing, To develop new business models or ideas which would consider other big crisis, while creating jobs to recover from the economic crisis created by COVID-19, Use of open source platform for e-commerce for click-and-collect online commerce services for free to any small and medium businesses etc.
The solution of this Hackaton can be based on Mobile Apps, Web Apps, Digital Image Processing, Augmented Reality, Blockchain, Artificial Intelligence, Cloud Computing Platforms, Internet of Things etc.
