In this talk series Dr. Abhay Jere, Chief Innovation Officer, MHRD Innovation cell and Prof. Partha Chakraborty, Chairman, National Digital Library (NDL), Ex-Director, IIT Kharagpur discussed the following points:
- Prof. Partha Chakraborty, Chairman, National Digital Library (NDL), ExDirector, IIT Kharagpur Explained National Digital Library (NDL). In this National Digital Library (NDL) Softcopy of the Books, Software’s, Videos, Journals, Research papers are available. All the text materials and other resources are free of cost. NDL integrated as per the Researchers and Students.
- Overall 25+ Lakh Resources are available in this National Digital Library (NDL). And also introduced Single window platform for all the resources.
- Also Overall 20K + Resource provider to National Digital library (NDL).
- Prof. Partha Chakraborty, Chairman, National Digital Library (NDL), ExDirector, IIT Kharagpur Suggested to all the Universities can create the Digital repositories. For those Universities NDL Will give the free hosting services and free access to upload the resources to NDL.
- Currently NDL Will support the 30-40 Languages and also 25+ Lakh Active users in NDL.
