To provide students with industry insights from acquisition and processing to the distribution of the final product, an industrial visit to Mother Dairy was organized for BBA students on 08 March 2025.
Students visited Mother Dairy in Yelahanka, Bengaluru, to understand its milk processing and distribution operations. The visit began with an introduction to the company's history and its role in Karnataka's dairy industry. Students observed various stages of milk processing, including pasteurization, homogenization, and packaging. The plant follows strict quality control measures to ensure hygiene and safety. Automated machinery and cold storage facilities help maintain product freshness. Experts explained the logistics and supply chain management involved in dairy distribution. Further, students also learned about value-added dairy products like curd, butter, and flavoured milk. The visit provided valuable insights into large-scale dairy production and technology. It enhanced students knowledge on food processing and supply chain management. Overall, it was an informative and enriching experience
