One Day Training Programme At SIT Tumakuru

Department of chemistry School of Applied Sciences REVA University had organized one day training programme in Siddhaganga Institute of Technology for M.Sc previous and final year students. The training programme was scheduled on 2ndFebruary, 2019, Saturday. In this training programme students of M.Sc  has come across the hands on training on various advanced synthesis and characterizations instruments which plays an important role in a day by day research and development. The department of chemistry at SIT, TUMAKURU allowed REVA students in a grand way. The day was planned to have hands on training with X-Ray Diffractometer, IR-Spectrometer (Ft-IR) Transmittance and Reflectance Model, UV-Vis Spectrophotometer, photoluminescence spectrometer, Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer, CH-Instrument (Electrochemical work station), Battery testing unit, Polari meter, Impedance analyzer, tubular furnace and basic requirements for the synthesis by chemical methods. The HOD of Chemistry, Dr.V Uday Kumar in his words shared his happiness as it is a great privilege to S I T to share the knowledge among the students and also the praised the uniformity, discipline and enthusiasm in learning new methods , technology in the area of science.
