Description of the Event:
School of Mechanical Engineering in association with IIC REVA University organized workshop on “Design Thinking” on 28/10/2020 for faculty members of Enginnering schools. Around 25 participants got benefited from the session. The resource person was Dr.Niranjan Hiremath , Associate Professor , School of Mechanical Engineering, REVA University, Bengaluru. 

About The Program:
The program aimed at introducing the concept of Design Thinking to the faculty members.Design thinking refers to the cognitive, strategic and practical processes by which design concepts (proposals for new products, buildings, machines, etc.) are developed. Many of the key concepts and aspects of design thinking have been identified through studies, across different design domains, of design cognition and design activity in both laboratory and natural contexts.

Objective:
-To introduce the concept of Design Thinking to improve the process or to improve the experience.
