School of ECE organized a session on
“Patent: Bridging the gap between Idea to Income”on April 24th 2023.
Intellectual property (IP) is a category of property that includes intangible creations of the human intellect. Filing of intellectual property rights not only help innovators protect their invention, but also provides better collaborations and funding opportunities. As countries turn to innovation and creativity for sustainable development, the need to understand the IPR’s has increased. This talk was aimed at introducing the 2nd year students to the importance of filing a patent for their unique ideas before commercializing it as a product.
