Tribology Student Chapter, School of Mechanical Engineering organized Poster Presentation on “Diversified Range of Tribological Applications” on 13th March 2020 from 9.30 AM to 1.30 PM at Main Entrance, Sir M V Block.
All the Student members of Tribology chapter have participated and presented the posters in the following areas:
1) Bio Tribology
2) Space Tribology
3) Tribology in Sports
4) Tribology in Sugar Milling Industry
5) Tribology of Aircraft Carriers
6) Automotive Tribology
7) Types of wears
8) Types of Gear Failures
9) Different Grading of Lubricating oils
10) Different Lubricating systems
11) Super Lubricity
Objectives of the event:
1) To understand the diversified range of applications of Tribology
2) To explore the multi-fascinating nature of Tribology field
3) To make the students to learn about making of technical posters
Outcomes of the event:
1) Understanding of the vast range of Tribological applications
2) Exploring the scope of Tribology in mulita disciplinary field
3) Making of technical posters
By this event, students explored the applications of Tribology in various applications and understood about the making of technical posters. Many students visited the venue and got benefited.
