Honourable Minister for Women and Child Development Smriti Irani inaugurated REVA Business School’s new block on the REVA University campus on March 27, 2023. The event was held in the presence of Sri Tejasvi Surya, MP, Bengaluru South; Dr P Shyama Raju, Chancellor of REVA University; Sri Umesh Raju, Pro Chancellor, REVA University and other dignitaries.
The Union minister interacted with the youth and took questions from them ranging from the various government initiatives taken up for promoting youth talent in the country to various schemes for women’s welfare to addressing issues of unemployment in the country to the promotion of digital literacy which is a must for the country to surge forward. She also spoke of the country’s vision of improving the education sector and how India can contribute to society through its youth and various youth-based programmes. She also said that how everyone’s combined contribution enables our country for the greater good and become ambassadors of India’s culture. 
The business block of REVA is the latest addition to the state-of-the-art facility at REVA. The block has exquisite business-centric classrooms, business lobbies, techno centres conference rooms and board rooms apart from student engagement centres and entrepreneur cells.  The objective of the RBS is to build business leaders for tomorrow and add value to the economy of the country and the globe. RBS also focus on providing global exposure to students by preparing them for global leadership roles. The management education provided by RBS helps create students a sense of responsibility and accountability amongst students and imbibes in them social, moral and ethical values. With the new emerging trends in education, REVA Business School aims to remove the gap that exists between industry and academia and create flexible, talented, practically trained and skilled managers, leaders and entrepreneurs who are needed to manage the complexities of the corporate world.
