Report of Activity Based Engagement Programme held 19th October to 6th November 2020
Activity Based Engagement Programme (ABEP) was held for a period of 13 days spanning from 19th October to 6th November 2020 for first year students of batch 2020-2021.The programme was well acknowledge as evident through good number of participants. The opening day session was inaugurated by Dr.Y. Ramalinga Reddy, Director, School of Civil Engineering, REVA University. Director further motivated the enthusiastic participants to utilize this activity based event opportunity to maximum extent.
Objectives of programme
From the inception, this programme had following objectives
• To engage newly admitted students in activities
• To explore new ways of solving common societal problems from their localities.
• To correlate their talents like sketching, poster making and model building towards civil engineering domains.
Scope of this training programme
ABEP event was organized keeping in mind the requirement of engaging newly admitted students throughout pandemic situation until scenario is improved. Lot of activities were to be selected by the students from the basket of activities. All activities in the basket were meticulously planned based on different themes of Civil Engineering domains.

All the resource speakers were dedicated faculties of REVA University.
