REPORT OF “Virtual Undergraduate Alumni Meet-2021”

DATE: 13-06-2021 TIME: 7 PM to 9PM
About the Programme: The School of Electronics & Communication Engineering organized a “Virtual Undergraduate Alumni Meet-2021”on dated 13-06-2021 through the MS Teams platform from 7:00 pm -9:00 pm (IST). 

Prof Chaitra Nayak J started the alumni meet by welcoming Vice chancellor Dr. M.Dhanamjaya, Director Dr.Rajashekar C Biradar, Assistant director Dr.Sudarshan M, Alumni Association President Prof Nataraj and all Alumni to the function. 
 
Dr.M Dhanamjaya, Vice Chancellor, addressed the gathering, Sir, informed alumnus to share the expertise with younger friends joined REVA and also informed to become the mentor. Informed to support for placement, consultancy, and internship to the younger students. 

Dr.Rajashekar C Biradar, Director, School of ECE, requested Alumni to come forward to provide seminars on their expertise topic and told Alumni are strong pillars of institution and their perception enables to build the university stronger through word of mouth and brand of university.  Director called alumnus to mentor the students on the latest technologies. He also briefed about the activities conducted in School of ECE past 1 year. 

Alumni Dhanush C, hardware design engineer, Itriangle infotech,  shared his experience in REVA as student and informed REVA echo system enables students to study and to involve in extracurricular activities.  Suggested for conduction of industry-university academic interaction for bridging between the university and industry. 

Alumni Abdul Junaid, Salesforce developer,TCS, remembered the days spent in REVA Campus. He mentioned the support and encouragement given by Faculty members to attend technical talks, hackathon and competitions.  

Dr. Manjunath Kounte, Associate Professor School of ECM quoted  success of any university is measured with students success and seek  Alumnus contributions in terms of helping juniors through club activities, mentoring for Hackathon, sharing the experience with students to build confidence with students and placement. 

Dr. Nayana, Prof. Raghu, Dr. Amrut interacted with students and wished them good luck for their future endeavours. 

Prof. Chaitra conveyed Vote of Thanks message and expressed gratitude to the Chancellor, Vice Chancellor, Director & Staff of ECE for the support given in conducting the Virtual Alumni Meet and providing an occasion for Alumni to come together through virtual meet.
