Report of WEBINAR on “Why, What and How of AI” is Organised by School of Computing & Information Technology from the Computational Intelligence Club.

Computational Intelligence: Cognitive Intelligence, is a part of Artificial Intelligence. It mainly covers the technology and tools that allow our apps, websites and bots to see, hear, speak and understand the needs of the user through Natural language. They are they AI apps that allow machines to learn their users’ language. AI, for its part, is a much wider concept that includes technology and innovations such as robotics, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Neural Networks, NLP.
Speaker Profile: Mr. MUHAMMED HAMZAH, Senior Software Engineer, Global Logic.
Profile: 2.7+ years demonstrated experience in innovation channel across AI/ML space. Garnered experience in leading/managing teams and delivered crowning POCs resulting in new customer wins
Educational Background: B.Tech. (CSE) with Distinction.

Experience : SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER GLOBALLOGIC | OCT 2017 - PRESENT (TRAINEE-SSE)
Handled new innovation projects for the centre which resulted in new customer wins. Developed 7+ POCs in FY19-20 and undertook multiple research projects revolving around the AI/ML space, along with regular project work. Multiple POCs got into product roadmap of some reputed clients. Designed and developed APIs for a digital marketing client upon migration of legacy system to new tech stack. 3 major AI/ML POCs are the current highlights of GlobalLogic's Bangalore Customer Experience Centre.
The Technical Talk was delivered on following topics:
· Introduction to Cognitive Computing.
· Introduction to AI and ML.
· Discussion on Implementation of Data Science based projects.
