The Department of Biotechnology, School of Applied Sciences organized alumni talk and interaction for M.Sc. Biotechnology students on 21.9.2019. The resource persons were Ms. Anusha and Ms. Greeshma from 2016-2018 batch, the first M.Sc. Biotechnology batch under REVA University. Currently they are employed in IQVIA as Clinical Trainee coordinator and Contracts Analysts respectively. A thorough interaction happened where clear cut information was given regarding the job opportunities in Clinical Research and the kind of preparation to be done by the students to get into organisations like IQVIA. The students were advised to make their basic concepts very strong and to build on their communication skills. The process involved in recruitment was also thoroughly discussed. It was a very informative session. Students also actively participated in the session.
