REPORT ON "CAREER ORIENTATION LECTURE ON GOVERNMENT JOB OPPORTUNITIES”
The Department of Chemistry under the banner of SCIENCE AMENTURE CLUB, had organized a guest lecture on “Career orientation lecture on government job opportunities” by resource person: Mr. Gulab Singh, chemical and metallurgical superintendent, railway factory, Yelahanka, Bengaluru, on 21st January 2019 at 10.30 AM to 12.15 PM in M.Sc Class Room, Science block, RISM, for Final year M.Sc.Chemistry students. This guest lecture mainly focused on job opportunities in various government sector and prepare of competitive exam. Also creates awareness, knowledge, dedication, patience, etc are requirement is necessary to crack competitive exam in various government sectors in India.
Outcomes of this lecture:
1. Initiates and creates awareness to the students towards the various government job opportunities in India
2. Motivate the students to prepare competitive exam
3. It shown the direction on how to create road map to the upcoming competitive exam
4. Syllabus discussion, basic concept, importance of dedication and patience to achieve government job
