We are glad to inform you that School of Architecture, REVA University has adopted GOVERNMENT HIGH SCHOOL JALIGE. As part of the adoption drive, we have planned an activity at our adopted school JALIGE on 26/02/2021 that is on Friday and below is the brief of the activity.

Students of first semester, School of Architecture, REVA University as part of Basic Design and Visual Arts studio are to carry out a video exercise involving the eight prominent principles of design, namely Balance, Proportion & scale, Rhythm, Emphasis, Harmony, Unity, Variety and Contrast. They are to illustrate these principles in the form of video presentation in collaboration with students from Jalige school as part of Abhivruddhi initiative. This activity would help our students bond with the students at Jalige and could go a long way in establishing a peer bond amongst them.

Our students will demonstrate the skills of videography and making of video montages using cell phones. This will also help us identify students who have a knack for learning videography and film making in the process. The activity will not only help them learn a new skill, but also focus on one of the many virtues of technology against the cons. This exercise will also strengthen the mentorship initiative to be taken up by our first semester students.
As a part of Mathematic learning activity our students guided the kids in making the 3D model of the Geometrical shapes such as Triangle, Cube, Rectangle, Cylinder, Pentagon etc.

REVA students, were also a part of clean drive programme conducted from the GRAMA PANCHAYAT to create an awareness about cleanliness of the environment and surroundings by performing STREET PLAY and SINGING by our students in the streets of the village.
And also to enrich, spread and uplift our Indian culture we made an attempt of teaching CLASSICAL MUSIC as a part of academic learning for the students.
Students were very excited and benefited by all the activities conducted.

Students from 1st standard to 7th standard were part of this activity with the support of our 1st semester students.  The students experienced the pleasure of teaching and making the exercise interesting for kids.
