Report on Community Outreach Programme at Bangalore rural area Devanahalli Taluk

We are glad to inform you that School of Architecture, REVA University in collaboration with   Campus 2 Community organized a community outreach programme from 20th to 23rd September 2019 at Channarayapatana , Naganayakanalli , Janatha colony ,Channahalli , Jalige , Rajagatta , Beer Sandra and Tinglu village. Campus 2 Community  in coordination with Art Matters and Students of different colleges organize ‘SCHOOL BELL’, a mass service activity across the remote rural villages bordering Bengaluru and indulge in rejuvenating 150 government schools marking the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi through various activities.


42 students from IIIrd sem B.Arch. participated in this community outreach programme.

The activities  included artwork on the walls; providing awareness about environment, health, cleanliness and management, library and lab equipment’s, drinking water facility, sports kit, first aid kits etc. Around 5000 youth volunteers was part of this activity and around 7500 students where benefitted. With mass campaign as volunteers we made this event a grand success with completing the painting on the school wall which was assigned to us. The student serve as a great resource by getting involved in different kind of activities.
