Participants: 140 Partcipants, All semesters, Faculty, School of Architecture
Students of the Literary Club of the School of Architecture have organized a quiz competition for the students and faculty of School of Architecture. It based on several topics, ranging from literature to pop culture as well as architectural general knowledge.
A total of five rounds were conducted with active participation from students as well as faculty members. The rounds held are as follows:
• Round 1- Millenial Entertainment – This round consisted of primarily references to millenial culture and childhood as well as adulthood favourites.
• Round 2- Maps – The second round revolved around popular culture such as films and television shows with the goal of identifying the location of its filming.
• Round 3- Vocabulary – In this round, the objective was to connect the pictures shown on screen to form common words.
• Round 4- Visual Riddles – This round, similarly to the third round, had a series of images displayed, out of which a phrase or idion was to be formed.
• Round 5- General Knowledge – The final round was a set of architecture trivia questions.
After the completion of each round, the winners were announced with final determination done using a lightning round. Once the quiz ended, the winners of the photography competition held on 14th February, 2020, for Valentine’s Day were announced. Students and Faculty were enthusiastic and engaged participants and sent in answers to each question without any hesitation.
The event was planned to allow maximum participation and was completed with several winners. Students as well as faculty were lively and competed wholeheartedly.
