About Induction Program: 
Transition period is always tedious. So is the transition for students from their pre-university academics to professional curriculum. After rigorous training and planning required to join a professional college, students deserve time to unwind themselves to forge new relations with fellow students and familiarize themselves with the new environment. Induction program helps in making students of first year feel comfortable, creating opportunities to showcase their talents and interests and shape their character. 
Objectives: The Induction program served as a strong foundation for the first-year students of BPT for beginning their four and half years long journey. The program began the with Welcome address by Prof Varsha K S, followed by Overview of the School by Dr Jayashree S, Professor & Head, School of Allied Health Sciences, Address on Discipline at REVA by Prof. Abhilash G L - Assistant Professor, SoAHS, Address on Curriculum by Dr. Sharadhamma N - Assistant Professor, SoAHS, Address on Examination &Evaluation by Prof. Meghana M V - Assistant Professor, SoAHS, Address on Mentoring by Dr. Veeraraghavan V - Professor, SoAHS, Address on Culture at REVA by Dr. Cynthia Selvanathan - Assistant Professor, SoAHS, Address on Extra-curricular activities by Prof. Pooja R Karkera - Assistant Professor, SoAHS, Address on Clinical Postings System by Prof. Sudheendra - Assistant Professor, SoAHS, Address on Research and Innovation by Dr. Ramesh Kumar Kushwaha - Associate Professor, SoAHS, Speech on Physiotherapy Profession by Guest Speaker Mrs. Preeti Surana – Senior Physiotherapist & In charge, Modern Family Doctor. 

The speaker conveyed the scope, placements available, need for skill development and importance of the profession in health care and addressed all questions raised by the students as well as the parents. The speaker also made a nice motivational speech on her own experiences with patient care throughout her carrier. The speaker assured all her support any time in clarifying the doubts as well as concerns of students regarding the profession. 
The program ended with Vote of Thanks by Prof. Yamuna S - Assistant Professor, SoAHS.
