Title: Report on Industrial Visit to BEML

Participants: 44 Students, of MBA- 2nd Sem, Section - D
In order to have the overall development and for the right kind of Industry exposure , an Industrial Visit to BEML was planned for the students of MBA 1st Year, 2nd Semester – Section D on 10th April 2018.
All students assembled at REVA University gate and together started in a bus to BEML limited. The visit commenced at 9:40 am in the morning, where series of formalities were undertaken by the Security officials from the entrance gate of BEML to till the venue allotted.
BEML – Old Airport Road, Bengaluru is primarily focuses on the manufacturing of Metro Rail Cars (compartments) for Indian and International Companies as well. Till now they have been supplying to Delhi Metro, Kolkata Metro and has also bagged few orders for the fully automatic Metro cars for various other regions. The students took keen interest in knowing the various processes starting from manufacturing of various parts of Metro upto final assembly of the Cars. The test and quality check Department process was also understood by students and their queries were well answered by the officials/representatives of BEML.
Students also got a chance to interact with Mr. Syed – Training & Placement Manager. Mr. Syed took a 20 minutes session at the end of the visit where-in he explained the various opportunities available for the MBA graduates in BEML and in a like organizations. He insisted students to become Entrepreneurs and provide job opportunities to others. He advised students to dream big and achieve the best possible of it. He also appreciated the initiative taken up by REVA University for introducing such visits for the young minds and nurturing their careers. Students enjoyed the lunch along with other employees of BEML.
The industrial visit to BEML enriched knowledge to both students and faculty in knowing more about various processes.

Such kind of Industrial Visits help students in getting the right kind of exposure to make them ready to face the Corporate World.
