Objective is to understand the role of Facility management in the field of Co-Living Industry. As part of Architecture Design IV, students are to design a Housing community near kattigenahalli. To enhance the student’s knowledge on practical application of building services in design stage and to support the design process through this online expert lecture. 

Mr. Pawan Koyal has been in this industry of facility management for over 25years as the Chief Executive Officer at Denali Management Services, He clubs his passion for technology driven solutions with his expertise in Facility Management Services & Projects to conceptualise and deliver transformational services in Asset Management. He has led and inspired teams in areas of facilities management, procurement and real estate management in leading corporates such as Jones Lang LaSalle, Tatweer and ABN Amro. 
He briefed students about the overall scope of facility management in Co-living industry upkeep of the property, client relationship management, compliance and technology, various design observations, opportunities and issues to has be addressed by the Architects in future developments.

Outcomes of the Guest Lecture:
The Vth Sem B.Arch. students were able to understand that an Architecture project should consider Building infrastructure without design gaps for Facility management and users quality of life from planning stage. To provide adequate facility for maintenance of fire fighting system, plumbing and electrical piping for amenities. Design consideration on access to stretcher in lifts, Fire rated elevators, disabled friendly design, Waste collection and disposal, power backup. Regulations on access control, attendance management, medical facilities and emergency response. We would like to thank the management and team at REVA University for their support and constant encouragement towards our endeavours.
