We realize that “Great design can be showcased with good software skills”,
As a part of Advanced computer aided design course, School of Architecture conducted a workshop for the 6th semester students. The aim was to introduce Conceptual Massing/Modeling through the latest version from Autodesk Revit software. The concept of computation in design can enhance a student level approach to perceive 3D form and directs them towards exploring new ideas.
Students learnt the application of modeling tools like Extrusion, Revolve, Sweep and Solid Blend and developed their skills with sample projects Hands-on. These effective techniques generously helped them visualize a new way of interpreting 3D geometries for their design projects.
