Competitions and NASA club of School of Architecture had arranged a workshop /Expert talk on Architectural Mobile Photography for the students of B.Arch..


Key concepts covered: 

·    Elements of photography
·    Composing and rule of thirds
·    Exposure vs. iOS
·    Applications of elements learnt in architectural photography.

Methodology: 
·    Interactive presentation, step by step guide to understanding how to achieve a good architectural photograph and the key requirements for one.

Agenda discussed:
The workshop focused on understanding importance of  
·    Brightness, exposure and the usage of iOS 
·    Principles of design in photography
·    Composing a photograph
·    How to achieve ideal angles
·    When to use landscape or portrait 

The workshop was to teach students how to take a well- rounded photograph, without compromising on minor details. The students learnt how to avoid under and over exposed images with shadows and light balance. The process of angling and correctly composing the frame along with usage of shutter speed was also taught. The workshop essentially helped students achieve good photos with their own preferences in terms of the final product. It was a well-received event by both students as well as faculty.
