As a part of the Architectural Design course, the School of Architecture conducted a three days Rural Documentation Study for IVth Semester students from 30th March & 01st April, 2022 at Kodiayala, Karnataka. This report describes the factors that have contributed to making of traditional architecture, cultural landscape and the other amenities in the remote rural areas of Kodiyala in Karnataka. It is based on the experiences and findings of rural design studio conducted for the second year students of the architecture program. The Studio is aimed at lateral integration of various subjects like Architectural Design, Building Technology, Climatology and Physical Infrastructure through a settlement study resulting in a documentation.
