Report on the webinar conducted by RUSOA in collaboration with IPIRTI on “Building with Bamboo” on 12.10.20
A webinar on “Building with Bamboo “was organized by R.U.S.O.A for students and faculty members of R.U.S.O.A on 12.10.2020 so as to explore the immense possibilities of using Bamboo for Architectural and Structural applications , in collaboration with I.P.I.R.T.I ( Indian Plywood Industries Research and Training Institute ), who have nearly three decades of experience of doing research in Bamboo and Bamboo applications. The webinar was organized by Prof. Rajesh Malik and Asstt. Prof. S. Nagaraja.
The webinar was very well received both by students and faculty members who were exposed to the different properties of Bamboo, its’ applications and chemical treatment processes. It was indeed a learning experience for everyone.
All of them had much to explore during the webinar, which will inspire them to reach further heights in their creative design process.
