School of Electronics & Communication Engineering, REVA University, Bangalore, had organized Webinar on “A Learning paradigm for a post COVID World”, by Dr Sandeep Shastri, Vice Chancellor, Jagran Lakecity University, Bhopal, on 19th May 2021, from 2.00 PM to 4.00 PM through MS Teams.

About the Webinar
The Webinar is an exploration into how the Covid pandemic has influenced human behaviour and how this can be used as a positive change in society. Will have present scenarios on how the current crisis will evolve and be resolved.
Many people are reviewing what work-life balance they want to achieve and where they want to live. We need to embrace this change and help people continue to choose these more active modes of transport for both leisure and if/when they need to return to commuting. 
There are many things to consider such as integration with other modes of transport, segregation, security and safety, planning for future pandemics preparedness, coordinate responses, integration with other modes of transport, segregation, security and safety.

Brief Bio-data of Speaker:
Dr Sandeep Shastri is the Vice Chancellor of the Jagran Lakecity University, Bhopal. Dr Shastri prefers to describe himself as a teacher by instinct, researcher by choice, trainer by passion and above all a life-long learner. 
Dr Shastri's research has been in the fields of Elections Studies, Federalism, Political Institutions and Processes, Karnataka Politics and the Teaching/ Learning Process. 
He has authored 13 books, over 50 chapters in Edited books and over 95 articles in refereed research journals besides more than 300 Op Ed page articles in leading international and national newspapers. 
Dr Shastri is also a political commentator who appears frequently on television and has been a featured election analyst on India Today TV, CNN-IBN, CNBC, NDTV and Republic TV. 
He is the National Coordinator of the Lokniti, an All India network of social scientists involved in survey based election and opinion studies. 
He is a consultant to prestigious international bodies like the United Nations, World Bank and the Forum of Federations. 
He was an adviser on Political Party Reforms in the Pacific Rim States to the UNDP, Adviser on Governance Reforms in Nepal for the World Bank  and an adviser on constitutional reforms and transition to democracy in Myanmar and South Sudan for the Forum of Federations. 
Dr Shastri played a key role in drafting the Karnataka State Youth Policy by serving as the Chairman of the Drafting Committee of the said Policy. 
Dr Shastri has lectured extensively across the world and spoken at Universities in more than 50 countries in all the six inhabited continents.  

Session Report
The session was presided by Dr.M.Dhanamjaya, honorable Vice-Chancellor, REVA University and the Guest of Honor of the function was Dr Sandeep Shastri, Vice Chancellor, Jagran Lakecity University, Bhopal.
Dr.R.C.Biradar, Director, School of ECE welcomed the gathering and briefed about the session. Dr Sandeep Shastri talked about how the Covid pandemic has influenced human behavior, education of students and how this can be used as a positive change in society. He discussed about how to make oneself more self disciplined in online learning process, how to learn effectively from the online classes without getting tired and frustrated. The session was very interactive. The event came to an end with discussion of doubts with the students and resource person. Finally, the session ended with presidential remarks by Dr.Dhanamjaya and  Vote of thanks delivered by Dr.R.C.Biradar, Director, School of ECE.
On behalf of School of ECE, We would like to thank our beloved Chancellor, Vice Chancellor for providing all the facilities and support to conduct such events. We also thank our Director, School of ECE, Dr. R.C. Biradar, and Assistant Director Dr.Sudarshan K M for their constant support and guidance and also we thank all our ECE faculty members for the encouraging the students to attend the technical talk.
