School of CSE in association with IRRC, REVA University organised a International prime lecture series (RUI-PLS) on The Power of Brain on 26th Apr, 2023.
Three speakers Mr. Shivaram K R, Dr Madhan Kumar Srinivasam from Hue Learn and Dr. Timothy Kieran from US gave lecture in this session.
Dr. Kieran O’Mahony ,founder of the Institute for Connecting Neuroscience with Teaching and Learning (iCNtl). His lecture focused on cognitive neuroscience.
Kieran’s talk was informative and lively with lot of information essentially that of translation-- by connecting neuroscience with teaching and learning. As new knowledge unfolds at the bio-molecular level in brain labs..
He spoke about implementing important findings into teaching and learning platforms in classrooms, workplaces, and homes.
He highlighted processes that are aligned with pedagogical, brain-enabled methodologies, which he believes are instrumental in fostering deep understanding, prolonged engagement, and collaborative outcomes that foster human development in a fast-paced and challenging new century.
