Programming can be an intellectually satisfying skill, however, problem-solving with a computer involves much more than learning programming language syntax. The theory and practice are interrelated in fascinating ways. The fundamental knowledge of a software developer is his/her programming skills. Teaching programming for students thus plays a main role in shaping their future. Teaching programming should be non-monotonous and be creative.
