Seminar on "Renewable energy and microgrid" by Prof. S.S. Murthy, former Vice Chancellor, Central University, Gulburga and former Professor, IIT, New Delhi on 10-03-2018
During the seminar he had talked on the importance of renewable energy systems and their necessity in implementing the microgrid. At presently the electric power is centrally generated and distributed through lengthy transmission and distribution lines that cause the T&D loss in the range of 28 to 47%. In order to reduce the energy loss, it is essential to go in for microgrid systems with renewable energy generator. The renewable enrgy system also reduce the environmental pollution at a great extent.
