In association with IEEE Circuits and Systems Student Branch, REVA University's School of Electrical and Electronics Engineering organized a seminar titled "Renewable Energy in India: Driving New Businesses and Innovations" on March 10th, 2023. The event specifically catered to the 6th semester students pursuing Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
The seminar featured Dr. Hemanthkumar B, an esteemed Associate Professor from Mohanbabu University-Tirupathi, as the invited resource person. The session commenced with a warm welcome by Dr. K Jyotheeswara Reddy, an Associate Professor from REVA University's School of EEE, who acknowledged Dr. Hemanthkumar's significant contributions in the field.
Dr. Hemanthkumar's engaging session spanned over an hour, during which he delved into the subject of renewable energy in India. He discussed the various opportunities it presents for new businesses and innovative ventures. Following his insightful presentation, a productive question-and-answer session took place, allowing the students to interact and gain further insights. Dr. Ritesh Dash delivered the vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to Dr. Hemanthkumar and all the participants. The event proved to be a success, with a total of 45 enthusiastic students from the School of EEE actively engaging in the program.
The seminar served as a platform for students to expand their knowledge and understanding of renewable energy and its potential for driving new businesses and innovations in India.
