Description:
The School of EEE had organized a seminar on Fundamentals of Electric Safety and PQ diagram “on 22nd February, 2019 between 11:50 AM to 12:50 PM in Kalpana Chawla Seminar Hall for 2nd semester B.Tech. Students. Dr.B. P Divakar, Dean R &I, was the resource person.
The following are the key points:
1. Importance of Earthing.
2. Safety Measures.
3. Introduction to Reactive Power.
4. Improvement of power factor.
All the students were very keen on understanding the basics of electrical safety. The session was very informative and interactive as students were involved in the lecture. The lecture laid a very good foundation on strengthening the fundamental concepts of electrical engineering.
