To encourage students for external industry hackathons and problem statements , School of CSA in association with SODA Foundation conducted Boot Camp on 7th April with four indutry experts. The Students explored github and providing solutions through pull request to the solutions. SODACODE 2022 – The Data and Storage Hackathon was our first coding event scheduled for developers from all levels, ranging from beginner to advanced. It was composed of the Hackathon (March 1 – April 30) and Demo Days (May 25 – 26). SODACODE members helped students to have an overall understanding of the basics of open source, its importance for career, how to join and contribute to SODACODE projects along with hands-on sessions. The main objective of this activity was to help students to get familiar with technological aspects by participating in the development of the projects, to make their first open-source contributions as college students, to get dedicated help from community members and project leaders.
