Taalam Sarvam Layam was a workshop conducted by Vid.Sri Lingaraju at Kuvempu auditorium, REVA University on the intimate connection between rhythm, tempo and the dance being executed on stage. Here the ensemble conveyed precisely how significant the percussion instrument and all the accompanying musicians are to a performance. How the mridangam must be synchronised to each movement of the dancer and how even the vocalist should mirror the actions of the dancer. It was a very educational experience for all the students of SOPA & IS.
