The Resource person of the Technical Talk was Mr. Vinay Pawar, VP and Director – R&D, Spark Minda Technical Centre, Minda Corporation Limited.
He joined Spark Minda Technical Centre in April 2016. During this 3 years journey with Spark Minda Group he was involved in setting up the Software R&D for the legacy products of the group, building the assets ground up, and acquisition of key customers/ pilot customers for these products. He was instrumental in building the business case / strategy for the group’s foray into Connected and Electric Mobility and executing it. Under his leadership the R&D center has developed products in diverse areas like Infotainment, Vehicle Access, and Body Control, e-Mobility, Connected mobility and more. He is now spearheading set up of engineering services to group’s JV partners worldwide in niche areas like AUTOSAR, Functional Safety and Intelligent Mobility related components.
Before taking up the role with Minda Group, he was with KPIT, Continental and Bosch playing various leadership roles at different geographical locations across globe.
He has over 24 years of rich experience in the field of Engineering, Business solutions, Research & Development and Product Development. His Expertise includes Automotive Embedded systems, Powertrain Systems, Electronic Fuel Injection and Transmission Systems, Vehicle Access Systems, Body Control Modules, Various Sensors, Infotainment & Instrument Clusters & Connected Mobility and Electric Mobility Solutions.
Mr.Vinay was awarded a BE – Instrumentation from University of Pune, Maharashtra in the year 1994.
