Technical Webinar on Machine Learning and Deep Learning

School of Electronics & Communication Engineering, REVA University, Bangalore, is organizing Technical Webinar on “Machine Learning and Deep Learning”, 15th May 2021, From 3.00 PM to 4.30 PM through MS Teams.

About the Technical Webinar
Machine learning (ML) is a classical sub-discipline within Artificial Intelligence (AI) which use statistical methods to enable machines to improve with experience. ML is one of most active areas and way to achieve AI. Deep Learning is subset of ML which makes the computation of multilayer neural network feasible. Deep Learning is one the growing fields in Data Science which thrives on more data. This discipline is increasingly used by many professions and industries to optimize processes and implement adaptive systems. Since it has become a master with its applications, we will understand that how it is advancing dramatically in various fields in this programme.
The objectives of the webinar are (1) To introduce some concepts and techniques that are core to Machine Learning. (2) To achieve an AI power that teaches computer to tasks and ability to understand anything. (3) Applications of ML/Deep Learning in various domains and impact of ML/Deep Learning in future technologies. (3) to bring in the practical insights into the current development of the field.

Outcomes
(1) Understand the awareness and fundamentals of extract the insights from massive data sets in various companies like Google, Amazon etc.
(2) Be to able use various machine learning algorithms for real-world problems / applications.
(3) Demonstrate awareness and a fundamental understanding of various applications of ML/Deep Learning techniques in health care, Security /privacy, IoT Edge Computing, Smart Buildings & Smart Solutions.
(4) Understand complex ideas and relate them to specific situations, the ability to evaluate available learning methods and select those appropriate to solve a given task.
(5) Demonstrate an ability to share in discussions of deep learning and machine learning, its current scope and limitations, and societal implications.
