March 24, 2025, saw REVA University School of Computing and Information Technology, in association with REVA NEST, Mentisera, IEEE AESS REVA SBC, and IEEE MTT-S REVA SBC, organizing an online expert talk titled The Economics of Green Space Technology. The guest speaker was Ms. Leticia López Sosa, Green Finance Strategist in EtherWing Aerospace and former Senior Environmental Advisor to the Ministry of Public Works and Communications, Paraguay. She spoke on sustainable space technologies, green finance, and policy implications. The session had a mixed turnout and ended on an interactive Q&A, making it a deserving experience for all involved.
The expert talk on The Economics of Green Space Technology gave an overview of the contribution of space technology towards environmental sustainability with applications in climate observation, resource utilization, and disaster avoidance. Professionals from the industry were given an overview of future trends and career prospects as they delved into possible research collaborations in green space technologies.
