The School of Arts, Humanities & Social Sciences Organises A One-Day Multidisciplinary National Seminar on Potential of AI in Teaching and Learning

SEMINAR NOTE UNESCO’s mandate calls inherently for a human-centred approach to AI. Artificial intelligence (AI) has the potential to address some of the major issues facing education today, revolutionize methods of teaching and learning, and hasten the accomplishment of SDG 4. The primary objective of this seminar is to examine the potential of AI in teaching and learning and how it might affect the educational system. The Seminar will address the advantages and difficulties of incorporating AI in education and offer insights into how AI may be used to enhance the teaching and learning process by looking at recent research and case studies.

Participated in the institute on 'Theater and Civil Society: Politics, Public Space, and Performance' at the Brown International Advanced Research Institutes at Brown University, Providence, Rhode Island, USA between 9-23 June 2012.

Dr. Harshad Pore (Currently a User Assistance developer at SAP)
Worked as Assistant Professor, KES Shroff College, Mumbai. Responsible for initiating a Certificate Course in Professional proficiency in English at Department of English, University of Mumbai. Teaching expertise involved teaching Business Communication to the finance undergrads. Submitted his doctoral thesis at the age of 26, making him one of the youngest doctorates from Department of English, University of Mumbai.
