The department of Psychology organized a workshop on the theme— “Understand Adolescence and Gender Perspectives” on 17 February, 2023 at 9 AM in the Aryabhata Seminar Hall, REVA University. Around 50 students from Arts Humanities and Social Science and the school of Applied Science took part in the workshop.
The resource person who was invited for the event was Mr. Nadahalli Vasanth, a popular psychotherapist, counsellor, and also an author of 10 books. This workshop was conducted for the benefits of the students considering the challenges they come across during their adolescence age. The resource person addressed various subjects as adolescence, body, mind, sexuality, and LGBTQ. The session was interactive. Students posed their questions and queries towards the end of the workshop to which the resource person gave satisfied answers and explanations.
Some faculty members from the school also were present throughout the workshop and got benefitted by his ripe wisdom. The workshop ended at 11am. All the participants were happy about the workshop as they found it very informative and useful.
