The lecture covered the basic concepts of International financing tools, its features and parties involved in the transactions. The objective of this lecture was to train the students of MBA/ MCOM REVA University for enrichment of knowledge on International financing tools and techniques. The role of banks in the transaction of Letter of credit and other negotiable instruments has been highlighted with practical examples.
Speaker highlighted the (SWIFT) system - Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication (Swift) is a global network connecting banks to communicate messages about activities like money transfer safely and securely, using a code. The users of the SWIFT network & role of Banks, Securities Dealers, Clearing Houses, Exchanges, and Corporate Business Houses are explained.

Speakers’ Profile: Dr.Kishore is a Corporate Finance Professional & Economist with 25 years of experience in Credit, Project Finance, Corporate Finance, Legal and HR fields. He is an ex-banker and has worked for prestigious organisations. He served as Director and Committee Member of several companies. He is member of various associations. He has been championing the cause of Financial Literacy and Financial Wisdom for MSME and Start-ups and for management scholars. He guided more than 500 project works, authored various articles, been a privileged member of Economic Times CFO Ledger, and has been a resource person at various autonomous institutions.
