Topic: Water Resource Management
The guest lecture was organized by the department of commerce and management studies. The main objective was to provide a platform for the students to create awareness about the Current Water Crisis around the world.
The resource person concentrated on the crisis happening across the nation and possible solutions for the same. She also raised some important questions regarding the percentage of fresh water available and accessibility to clean water. Important issues like water availability and its conservation were also covered. She drew attention to important techniques like Rain water harvesting, waste water treatment etc.,
Innovative solution for current water crisis was depicted through interesting videos. The session was very informative, and students showed keen interest in answering few questions posed by the resource person at the end of the session.
She concluded the session by thanking the Management for providing the platform to deliver the lecture on Water Resource Management. She also thanked the Faculty members and the students for their active participation and successful conduction of the event.
