Abstract: Polymer membranes play a very important role in our daily life. Their application is not only just restricted to water purification, but also in biomedical applications, gas separation, electronic industries, food industries and many more. The membranes market size is projected to grow from USD 5.4 billion in 2019 to USD 8.3 billion by 2024, at a CAGR of 9.0%4.2 billion by 2024, at a compound annual growth rate of 7.0%! This talk highlights about basics of membrane technology, membrane preparation, characterization, our few contributions and its application part.
