The School of Arts and Humanities organized a Kannada webinar on "Digital Yugadalli Kannada Sahityada Swarupa” (Nature of Kannada Literature in the digital world) on 22 June 2020. The resource person was Dr. Arun Jolada Koodligi from Kannada University, Hampi. Karnataka.
Dr. Koodligi enlightened the participants about the challenges and possibilities of Kannada literature in the digital world. In the interest of digitalizing Kannada literature, he also elucidated how some organizations such as Ruthumana, Book Brahma, and Alisiri have contributed immensely. They have started to transmute the regional Kannada literature towards digitalization.
Overall, the session helped the participants to appreciate Kannada literature in the digital form. Around 700 participants registered online and actively participated in the session.
