The Department of Media studies, School of Arts and Humanities, organized a guest lecture on 27th August 2020 at 3.00 pm on “Secrets of Becoming a Successful Publics Relations Professional and Debunking Publics Relations Myths”. The session was organised for III Sem MAJC, III Sem BA-JEP & PEJ, V Semester BA-PR Soft core students. Around 150 students attended the session. The resource person was Ms. Reenakshi Uniyal Soni, Independent Public Relations Practitioner. She explained about psychological, educational and behavioural qualities required to become a PR professional. She stressed upon updating the current affairs knowledge which would help to understand the status of the industries. Also, she motivated the students to join the PR industry by debunking the myths of the profession. She shared her professional experience as a PR practitioner. Ms. Reenakshi answered the participant’s questions in a detailed manner.
