Title: Webinar Report on “Rudimentary for Building Project”

Description: School of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Center of Excellence – Internet of Things organized a Webinar on "Rudimentary for Building Project” on 29th Sept. 2020 from 7:00 pm to 8.00 pm. The resource person was Dr. M. Prabhakar, Associate Professor, School of Computing and Information Technology, REVA University.
Dr. M. Prabhakar has 21 years of teaching experience. He has few years work experience in Abroad. He has published about 20 articles in various International Journals and guided more than 50 Projects. His interested areas of research include Adhoc Networks, Wireless Sensor Networks, Internet of Things, Image Processing, and Cloud Computing.
He has published over 30 research articles in National and International Journals and more 20 articles in National and International Conferences. He has presented papers at various International Conferences in India and Abroad such as Thailand, Pataya, and North Africa. He is playing the role of reviewer for about three International & National reputed Journals. He has been reviewer, session chair and programme committee member for many Conferences. He is a life member of CSI and member of ACM – India.
The planet earth will have the Internet as its skin in the coming century. This means people will use the Internet as a major thing which will support the life and transmit the sensation. Even it can be said that the skin is coming together to form an external layer upon the whole world.
IoT or Internet of Things is primarily a full system of all the interconnected computing devices, having all the mechanical and digital machines. When the objects or the living beings have the UIDs or the Unique Identification, IoT application can transfer the data automatically without including the human to human interaction and human to computer interaction in between.
IoT is beneficial because it makes our work easy and is very less time-consuming. This clearly shows the seriousness, and how important IoT has become these days. So, it becomes inevitable to this new generation students to learn about this new technology at present.
The key highlights of talk are:

· The most popular IDEs developed by many Organizations
· How to integrate hardware to our PC/Laptop?
· How to start programming the hardware?
The webinar was attended by more than 45 attendees from school of ECE and got insights in to the rudimentary building of Internet of Things projects.
We would like to thank our beloved Chancellor, Dr. P. ShyamaRaju sir for providing all facilities and support to conduct this programme. Registrar Dr M. Dhanamjaya sir, for their motivation, help and support to conduct webinar.
We also thank our Director, School of ECE, Dr. R C. Biradar, and Assistant Director Dr. K M Sudarshan for their constant support and always motivating us to organize such events in School of ECE. We thank faculty and technical staff of School of ECE and student fraternity for attending and supporting us to conduct the Webinar successfully.
