School of Allied health sciences organized a webinar on “Tipping of Adipocyte Phenotypes for Metabolic Regulation” 13.07.2021. The resource person was Dr Badri Kameswara Rao, Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology, Morehouse School of Medicine, Atlanta, USA. 69 Students and Faculty members of the school attended the webinar. He discussed about the molecular mechanisms underlying in the Obesity and therapeutic strategies. Moreover he has discussed about the etiology of the Diabetes and the role of diet and existing synthetic and traditional medicines to treat both Obesity and Diabetes. He also explained how Obesity is connected to Diabetes. The programme was very helpful to students and faculty members.
