INSPIRE: REVA Women’s Convention

Amidst multiple roles and multi tasking, women find the need to bond with other women and create a space of their own. Inspire: REVA Women’s Convention aims at providing a space for meaningful conversations that touch upon multi-dimensional aspects of women’s lives. The convention visualizes a landscape where women influence and inspire one another to understand and to negotiate life, to make choices and to move towards progressive alternatives. It is an opportunity to connect, communicate and form a community of women that’s diverse and inclusive.

Theme - Women and Wellness 2020
The theme for the Inspire: REVA Women’s Convention 2020 is ‘Women and Wellness’. Wellness is the core aspect that foregrounds the multiple layers of women’s lives today. Be it the personal or the professional space, women need to navigate through life’s varied challenges and find both— a balance and a sense of rhythm to live joyfully. Hence the theme of wellness is prioritized to achieve the goal of well-being at all levels— physical, emotional, financial, intellectual and so on. The focus is on the multiple aspects of wellness as a key to empowerment at multiple levels.

Invitation & Call for The Papers
We invite unpublished / currently under any other review, original research papers from Members, Scholars, Professionals, Researchers, Academicians and Students to participate and present in the Conference. The paper need to be submitted on the Conference theme in line with Sub themes as outlined above.

Review Process

The abstracts/ full papers submitted for the possible presentation in the conference are subject to a blind review process.

The review is on the rolling basis. The decision of the reviewers will be final and binding. Acceptance/comments of the reviewers of the abstract/full paper will be communicated to the corresponding author within a week of the receipt of the abstract/paper.

Guidelines for Paper Submission

Authors are required to prepare papers as per the following guidelines:

• Authors are requested to submit the Abstract/Full paper at : inspire.rwc@reva.edu.in

• The entire paper should be typed in MS-Word using ‘Times New Roman 12 font with 1.5 line spacing and margins of one inch on all sides. The manuscript should include four major sections: Title page, Abstract, Main body and reference.

• Authors’ affiliation and communication address should be given on the first page.

• Papers must not have been published or accepted for publication elsewhere or be currently under any other review

• Abstract should be in single paragraph and should be between 200-300 words with 4-6 key words and it should follow the first page.

• The length of the paper should not exceed 12 pages or 5000 words excluding title page and references.

• References should be given at the end of the paper in the American Psychological Association (APA) Style sorted alphabetically.

Abstract Submission: 20th November 2019

• Full paper Submission: 15th December 2019

• Review Comments: 30th December 2019

• Final paper submission: 20th January 2020

• Final registration date: Within 7 days of the acceptance of full paper along with submission of conference registration fees

Registration

In case of multiple authors, at least one author must register. Only the registered author will receive the certificate. Certificates will be issued to all the authors of the paper only against the registration by all the authors

• If an author submits two papers, both the papers must be registered

• Registration should be made on or before 07/02/2020, Filled up registration form should be sent via post/email

• Presentation in-absentia is not encouraged

• The fee is inclusive of Conference kit, Lunch, Snacks, Conference CD and Certification
