Department of Biotechnology organised Women Lecture series on Tracking behaviour to biomolecule - a concept in biopesticide making was organized by co-coordinators Prof. Shilpa B. R and Dr. Manjula.K. R of Department of Biotechnology initiated by distinguished Women Lecture Series on 22nd November organised lecture series. The keynote speaker Manjula Kumari Doddamane, PhD, FRES, Former Secretary, Ethological Society of India, Former Professor and Chairman, Dept. of Microbiology and Biotechnology, Bangalore University gave talk on Tracking Behaviour of Biomolecules -A concept of Biopesticide mam gave talk on insightful talk on Bombyx mori and Helicoverpa armigera, out of 100 crop species, 71 are bee pollinated primarily by wild bees and a number of others are pollinated by other insects.
